Social Studies

In social studies this week we've been talking about the Crusades. Before we could talk of crusades though, we had to learn about Muslims. We learned that the Muslim founder, Muhammad, was basically like the massiah for christians. so anyway,the people who he tried to spread muslim teachings to did not like itand they wanted to kill Muhammad. but Stalder explained it more like this "Muhammadcame back and the priests were mad and they were like "i think we're gonna kill you"" now my first thought was "were they really that indecisive???" they only thought they were going to kill Muhammad. but Muhammad came back with a vengance and made Muslim religion the main religion. ha ha. and somehow we got off on a rabbit trail and Stalderkept on saying we were all throwing"verbal daggers" at eachother. and we got more off topic and he was like man i'm afraid now that the school trooper isnt here. and we all were thinking "why?!" and of course,he comes out with: "Noah is going to throw verbal daggars at me!" of course we all laughed at this. and that was the gist of the whole class, yes there is a place where teachers still use the term "verbal daggars" it's called marion, come visit ornot, we might throw verbal daggars at you... :P
